Bathing suit season! Don't be scared.

Don't you just love Georgia in the summer time? Warm weather, great people and swim suits! That's right. The dreaded "bathing suit season" is upon us and with it comes the insecurity and scrutiny of women everywhere!

Don't lie, if you're a young vibrant 20 something that goes to the pool in your neon green string bikini and you  walk around feeling like you just stole something and ain't been caught yet then you're probably judging other women who don't look like you in that swim suit. Well, thank the Lord in heaven that no one else wears your annoying green string thing because it looks terrible even on you honey.

Fact of the matter is this: not all women are models. Again, thank the Lord in heaven for that one too. Otherwise we'd all be pretentious little twigs with no boobs or butts that make perfectly straight men consider liking their own gender just to get a mate with meat on their bones!

Real women don't look like models, not saying models aren't real women because a lot of them are. What I'm saying is you don't have to dread a bathing suit! If you are not the "average body type" whatever that means, and you have a few extra pounds or your bigger up top than most girls, EMBRACE IT! Don't try to fit into the neon green string thing, because it won't look good. You were made uniquely to be you, so don't try to be anyone else but yourself. Wear the kind of bathing suit that fits to your body, don't try to make your body fit to a bathing suit.

In case you didn't know, there is a movement happening. It started with The Bert Show. It's called Suit Yourself. Women everywhere are posting photos of their "imperfect" bodies in bathing suits and owning it! Fear a confident woman! Own your stretch marks and your cellulite! Join the movement on twitter with #SuitYourself!

You have been properly inspired, now go out there and be part of the change!
