Rain, Rain Go Away!

So, its been raining a lot. And it's making everyone complain about the rain. Because that's what people enjoy doing. Take something away and they will whine, give them what they want all the time and they whine.

But let's refresh. Georgia had a drought some 4 years ago and it was pretty bad. Temperatures in the 110s and all the things that grow, were dead! All the lake levels fell 20 to 30 feet below average, and by August the last time we got rain was early spring.

For 2 or 3 years after, the media in Georgia harped on how our lake levels have never recovered and how it will never recover because of global warming blah blah blah. Well, this year it has rained almost every day since April and in a lot of instances it will rain nonstop for 5 days.

Now, everyone is complaining about too much rain. It's like, BRO we done needed da rains yo and now you wan be all upset 'bout it?

But I don't hear anyone retracting the statements about us NEVER getting lake levels back to normal. That must have slipped their minds.

So here we are, rainy like Seattle, only with the thunders and stuff. I enjoy the rain, despite how terrible it makes my commute, because without water there would be no nature and I really like nature.

So, I encourage everyone to suck it up and go dancing in the rain. It might be good for you.
