What makes a bad day worse? I know many people will have their own idea, and all are extremely valid... but I believe that traffic is the winner.
I am certainly not the first person to rant about terrible traffic conditions, but if you are some of the fortunate individuals who suffer in silence (just kidding, we all know you yell at the people in front of you) while you commute to work in some of the most terrible traffic conditions on a beautiful sunny day, then I am right there with you. Unfortunately, we don't notice the beautiful day because we are sitting in our cars driving to work while the sun beats down on our left arm and tans it just dark enough to make our right arm look funny while the talk show we're listening to goes to commercial and that jag-off next to you cut over without a turn signal.
Phew. That felt good.
We often think of traffic as it's own entity, "Traffic made me late" "I wasn't able to do it because of traffic." When really, we are the traffic. The thing in which we despise is ourselves. So before you honk your horn at the giant SUV who pulls in front of you, or the school bus who just doesn't want to get out of the way, consider this: No one can possibly be more miserable in traffic, than me.
That is all.
