Cell phones...

So, as a lot of you who read this blog (which is like I total of 6 people) know, I have a blackberry. And if you know me really well, you are aware that the reason is to text internationally with blackberry messenger. Cause, texts internationally are .25¢ per text and that can amount to a LARGE international charge on your next bill.

Anyway... My friend who I text with informed me years ago that he wouldn't change from blackberry, however he announced a couple days ago that in fact he will make the switch to a different brand of phone.

Now, I'm excited because my blackberry has annoyed me for the better part of a year, but I have an android tablet so I am not missing anything. With that being said, I am certainly ready for a different make and model of phone.

Well, yesterday evening I get a text and he is standing in the phone store getting ready to switch to an android. haha. Totally a guy thing to do right?

So now, I have a sad little blackberry and he just got an android rugby lte.

Needless to say, I will be getting a new phone this weekend! The plan is to stick with the same make of phone because all brands have some kind of free text between phones program. Since we talk daily, this goes a long way for my bank account.

Maybe something shiny, with apps and stuff. Dontcha think?
